Ariana Grande cancels remaining 2015 live dates

Ariana Grande has cancelled the remaining 2015 live dates on her Honeymoon world tour.

The singer was scheduled to perform in Abu Dhabi, UAE on December 3, at London’s O2 on December 5, and two shows in Japan on December 8 and 9.

“Babies,” she tweeted, “I’m so sad I won’t be able to make it abroad this December but I can’t wait to see u & reschedule for next year. I love you all so much.”

While no further details regarding the reason behind the last-minute cancellations was announced, the four dates are just the latest in a series of shows Grande has pulled the plug on this year.

In the spring, she backed out of concerts in Fairfax, VA and Houston, TX due to prior commitments, a July date in Cincinnati, OH following the removal of her wisdom teeth, and a late October show in San Juan, Puerto Rico due to a scheduling conflict.

Last month, the singer’s new single, “Focus”, debuted at No. 7 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

The tune is the lead single to Grande’s forthcoming third album, “Moonlight”, which is expected in early 2016.

Ariana Grande teases new music may be on the way

Ariana Grande is teasing fans that new music may be on the way as she marks Tuesday’s 1-year anniversary of the release of “Problem”, the lead single from her second album, 2014's “My Everything.”

"One year since #problem!!!! what a year it's been," writes Grande on Instagram. "I'll never be able to find the words to fully express my gratitude and appreciation to be able to do what I love and to have the greatest, sweetest, funnniest (but actually the funniest....... ever), kindest, most generous and genuine fans (loves) in the world by my side.

“y'all are dream babes and I love you. here's to more music and memories (I may or may not be in the studio working on it right now)."

“Problem” – featuring Grande and Australian rapper Iggy Azalea – reached No. 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on many charts around the world.

The single helped “My Everything” debut at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 with opening week sales of 169,000 on its way to selling more than 1 million copies in the States alone.

Grande returns to live action next month when she begins a European tour in Paris, France on May 14; a summer run across North America starts July 16 in Tampa, FL.

VIDEO: Ariana Grande guests on The Tonight Show

Ariana Grande was a guest on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday.

The pop star was on hand to appear in an “Ew” skit with the host before joining him for what the singer revealed is her first sit-down interview on a talk show.

“I’m so nervous,” said Grande. “I don’t speak; this is my first time speaking in front of people. I’ve never talked on a talk show. I feel vulnerable, I feel so weird.”

Fallon calmed the pop star down with his easy going manner, even managing to convince Grande to perform her impression of Celine Dion.

Grande’s second album, “My Everything”, continues to dominate the charts with four singles issued to date; the record currently sits at No. 20 in the US Billboard 200 album chart.
