VIDEO: Coldplay debut new music at Tidal concert

Coldplay debuted three previously unheard tracks from their forthcoming album, “A Head Full Of Dreams”, during a Tidal live-streamed show at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Billboard reports the band showcased four new tunes including the title track, "Amazing Day,", “Up&Up” and the project’s lead single “Adventure Of A Lifetime.”

The 11-song set before an intimate crowd of 2,000 plus also delivered hits like “Yellow”, “Clocks”, “Paradise” and “Viva la Vida”, among others.

Coldplay postponed the originally-planned live stream from the same venue on November 13 following the terrorist attacks in Paris. The group, instead, performed a short acoustic set that night – including John Lennon's "Imagine" as a tribute to Paris – for the fans who had already lined up at the theater.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is one of many high-profile music artist investors in the Tidal streaming service.

Due December 4, “A Head Full Of Dreams” was produced by Norwegian duo Stargate and Rik Simpson and recorded in Malibu, Los Angeles and London.

The project includes guest appearances by Beyonce, Noel Gallagher, Tove Lo and Merry Clayton.
