Coldplay have announced the first series of dates for a 2016 world tour in support of their forthcoming album, “A Head Full Of Dreams.”

“We’re excited to announce the Latin American and European legs of next year’s A Head Full Of Dreams Tour,” says the band, “with 20 stadium shows confirmed across 14 countries in Europe and Latin America.”

Dates begin in Buenos Aires, Argentina on March 31 – the first of 7 concerts in the region – while a European run is set to start in Nice, France on May 24.

Tickets for the UK/European shows go on general sale on Friday, November 27 at 9.30am GMT (UK shows) and 10am CET (all others) via Ticketmaster.

Latin American concerts will go on sale starting the first week of December, with ticket dates listed on the band’s website.

Further shows, including the North American leg of the tour, will be announced at a later date.

Due December 4, the band’s 7th album was produced by Norwegian duo Stargate and Rik Simpson and recorded in Malibu, Los Angeles and London.

The set includes guest appearances by Beyonce, Noel Gallagher, Tove Lo and Merry Clayton.

Coldplay are previewing the project with the lead single “Adventure Of A Lifetime.”
