Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine is stepping out on his own to host Saturday Night Live later this month.

The January 26th episode will feature Levine as host, along with musical guest Kendrick Lamar.

Maroon 5 are up for two 2013 Grammy Awards. The group was nominated for “Best Pop Vocal Album” for “Overexposed” and for “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” for the single, “Payphone.”

The band will kick off their 2013 North American tour next month; the 31-date trip begins February 13 in Columbus, OH and wraps April 6 in Rosemont, IL.
