Maroon 5 announce North American tour




Maroon 5 have announced their 2013 North American tour.

Along with openers Neon Trees and Owl City, the 31-date trek kicks off February 13 in Columbus, OH and wraps April 6 in Rosemont, IL.

“This is our biggest tour yet,” says frontman Adam Levine. “Anybody who has seen a Maroon 5 show, even those people are gonna be so blown away by what we’re doing now. We really feel this calling to put on the best show we’ve ever put on… We feel like we’ve had this resurgence, this kind of second life where we are pushing ourselves that much harder now to make the best concert experience we could possibly have. It’s certainly going to be something atht we want the whole world to see.”

The tour is in support of Maroon 5’s latest album, “Overexposed.”

Tickets are available for purchase beginning Saturday, October 27th at LiveNation.com.

Maroon 5 fan club members will have access to presale tickets beginning Monday, October 22nd.

This past summer marked the debut of Maroon 5’s fourth studio album, “Overexposed.” Recorded in Los Angeles, CA, the release quickly reinforced the group’s status as a powerhouse in popular music.

“Overexposed” features a series of chart-topping singles including: “Payphone,” which immediately shot straight to #1 on both the Top 40 and Hot AC charts, and “One More Night,” which has been at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for five straight weeks.

The third single off of the album, “Daylight,” is scheduled to impact radio this November. Maroon 5 will debut the song on The Voice on November 8th.
