Madonna drops hint about Super Bowl performance

Madonna is only a few weeks away from her 12 minutes on stage as the featured performer for the 2012 Super Bowl halftime show.

12 of the most-watched musical minutes of the year: more than 162 million viewers in the U.S. viewed last year's show.

Madonna is expected to perform her new single, “Gimme All Yer Luvin’,” which drops any day now; her new album, “M.D.N.A.” is due this spring.

The single features Nicki Minaj and MIA, and both are rumored to be joining Madonna for the Super Bowl event.

But the Queen of Pop isn’t giving anything away about the show or any possible guests.

"I am not saying 'Yes,' and I am not saying 'No'", Madonna told MTV at the New York premiere of her film, “W.E.”

The only tease she offered was, "Pom poms. That's all I can tell you."

The 2012 Super Bowl takes place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Sunday, February 5.

Madonna joins an esteemed list of recent halftime acts that includes The Black Eyed Peas, The Who, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and U2.
