Maroon 5 have announced dates for a fall 2016 tour of North America.

The 6-week run starts September 3 in San Antonio, TX and will see the band joined by Tove Lo on all dates, with Phases and R. City appearing separately on select dates.

“It’s gonna be awesome,” says Adam Levine, “we’re super excited to get out there. Very pumped.”

A Maroon 5 fan club and American Express presale starts November 9 at 10:00 am local time, while a Live Nation presale begins November 12 at 10:00 am local time.

General public tickets will go on sale November 14.

Last month, Maroon 5 wrapped up an extensive 2015 tour in support of their 2014 album, “V.”

The project debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 on its way to sales of more than 1 million copies in the States alone.

The band issued the compilation “Singles”, in the fall; the set presents a dozen hits from the group’s career.

Maroon 5 will close out 2015 with two shows in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on December 30 and 31.

The group will then kick off 2016 with spring dates in Mexico and South America starting in February.

VIDEO: Maroon 5 – One More Night

Maroon 5 are back this week with their fourth album, “Overexposed.”

Frontman Adam Levine told Rolling Stone that the project is "one of our most diverse and poppiest albums yet."

"'Moves Like Jagger' [from 2010's Hands All Over] was the first time we ever worked with an outside writer, so we decided to try it some more on this record," guitarist James Valentine said in a statement. "At this point in our career I think it was a good thing to completely mix up our process and it yielded good results, as well as a more collaborative spirit within the band. We wanted to make something that sounded contemporary with the elements of a lot of early eras of pop music. This is our most 'pop' record ever and we weren’t shy about really going for it."

Maroon 5 have issued the video for the album’s new single, “One More Night.”

The Hunger Games soundtrack debuts at US #1

The Hunger Games is both a box office smash and a musical hit.

Billboard reports The Hunger Games soundtrack debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, having sold 175,000 copies in its first week according to Nielsen SoundScan.

It's the first theatrical film soundtrack to top the chart since "Michael Jackson's This Is It" launched at #1 on the list in November of 2009. The Hunger Games is also the first multi-artist film soundtrack to reach #1 since one week before Jackson, when "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" rose from #2 to #1 in its second week on the chart.

The Hunger Games soundtrack features a range of artists, including Taylor Swift, the Civil Wars, Arcade Fire, Maroon 5 and Miranda Lambert.

It's the companion album to the film of the same name, which grossed $152.5 million at the U.S. and Canada box office last weekend.

The soundtrack bumped One Direction’s debut, “Up All Night,” out of top spot; that album slides to #4 in its second week.

Jennifer Lopez not planning duet with Steven Tyler

The battle between reality singing contests continues this spring with The Voice and American Idol currently up and running, while other shows are set to return later this spring.

Following the success of The Voice mentors Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera teaming up for their collaboration of Maroon 5’s "Moves Like Jagger," MTV reports music fans shouldn’t expect Idol judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler to follow in their footsteps.

"None of us are kind of followers in that way," Lopez told MTV News. "We kind of do what feels right, and anybody that's been in the business a long time knows that you don't chase."

"You set the trail. You go out front, and anything that we do is something that feels good to us," she said, leaving the door open just a crack. "If that happened, it would happen. If a performance happened, it would happen. But it would have to feel real. ... Last year, we talked about performing together on the show for the finale, and we just couldn't agree on the same thing that felt good for all of us, so we just didn't do it.”

"Adam and I share the same vision as we begin working on my record together,”
