Adele won the Oscar Sunday night for Best Original Song for her James Bond theme, “Skyfall.”
The UK sensation also performed the song on the awards program, on a night that included a tribute to 50 years of Bond films.
Adele and producer/so-songwriter Paul Epworth accepted the Academy Award, with the singer thanking Epworth for “believing in me.”
The pair won in a category that included songs from films “Les Miserables,” “Life Of Pi,” “Ted” and “Chasing Ice.”
“Skyfall,” which recently picked up a Golden Globe for Best Original Song, was the first Bond theme nominated for an Oscar in over three decades.
