Adele previews her new song, “When We Were Young”, in an upcoming episode of 60 Minutes Australia.
Footage of the singer performing the tune in rehearsals for her upcoming tour can be seen in a sneak peek of her appearance on the weekly news program episode set for broadcast on November 22 – two days after the release of her third album, “25.”
Adele co-wrote the song with Canadian singer/songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr., and called it her favourite track on the album in a recent Rolling Stone interview.
Produced by Greg Kurstin, “25” has been launched with the lead single, “Hello.”
Already a worldwide smash, “Hello” has been certified platinum as it tops the UK charts for a third straight week.
The UK singer performed the song at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, France on November 7.
The annual event, which honors the best in the French and worldwide music industries, also saw performances by Coldplay, Justin Bieber and Sting, among others.
