Adele tops Rolling Stone’s Best of 2011 lists

Adele continues to receive honors for her smash “21” album.

Earlier this week, the record was confirmed as the biggest selling UK album of the 21st Century in just over 10 months, with sales of more than 3.4 million copies in the UK; it’s also the best selling album of the year in the US.

Now, Rolling Stone ranks “21” as the Best Album of 2011, and the single, “Rolling In The Deep,” as the Best Song of the year.

The lists, created by Rolling Stone editors, put Adele’s album at #1, followed by Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Watch The Throne" at #2, Paul Simon's "So Beautiful Or So What"at #3, Fleet Foxes' "Helplessness Blues" at #4 and Radiohead's "The King of Limbs" at #5.

Adele tops the singles list ahead of Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Ni**as in Paris" at #2, Britney Spears' "'Til The World Ends" at #3, Foo Fighters' "These Days" at #4 and Paul Simon's "Rewrite" at #5.

Adele recently released “Live At The Royal Albert Hall" on DVD and Blu-ray.
