VIDEO: One Direction join James Corden for Carpool Karaoke

One Direction joined The Late Late Show host James Corden for the latest episode of Carpool Karaoke on Tuesday.

The feature sees Corden joined by a second passenger so that he can use the carpool lane to drive to work.

The pairing sang along to a selection of the group’s biggest hits including "What Makes You Beautiful," "No Control," "Story Of My Life" and "Best Song Ever," as well as "Drag Me Down" and "Perfect" – a pair of tunes from their newly-released album “Made In The A.M.”

The group’s fifth studio record debuted at No. 2 on the US Billboard 200 album charts with opening week sales of 459,000 units, including 402,000 in pure album sales.

“Made In The A.M.” took second spot behind Justin Bieber’s “Purpose”, which sold 649,000 equivalent album units, including 522,000 in pure album sales.

The project marks One Direction's first album without former member Zayn Malik, who left the group in March.

“Made In The A.M.” will be the band’s last full record before taking an extended hiatus in 2016.

One Direction’s new video for “Best Song Ever” has set a new Vevo record with 10.9 million views in its first 24 hours.

One Direction land second million-selling album this year

One Direction have added another sales achievement to their resume.

Billboard reports the UK boy band is the first act since 2005 to have two newly-released albums sell more than a million in a calendar year.

The group's latest album, "Take Me Home," sold another 127,000 to bring its to-date total to 1.04 million in the U.S. according to Nielsen SoundScan. The set joins One D's debut, "Up All Night," which has sold 1.51 million copies since its release in March.

The last artist to sell a million of two new albums in a calendar year was Kenny Chesney in 2005.

One D will kick off their 2013 world tour in London in February.
