VIDEO: Karmin release Hello video

Pop duo Karmin have released the video for their new single, “Hello.”

The song also doubles as the title track to the group’s recently-released debut album.

Karmin took the internet by storm last year after posting a cover of Chris Brown’s “Look At Me Now” on YouTube. The clip instantly went viral and became one of YouTube’s most viewed videos of 2011. The duo has since released their debut album and racked up over a half of a billion views for their videos.

Karmin are currently on tour across North America; this weekend, they play two shows in Chicago on August 10 and 12.

Karmin’s debut album, “Hello,” was released on Tuesday.

The former YouTube novelty cover sensations have a hit single in “Brokenhearted,” which currently sits at #32 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Tuesday morning, Karmin appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America to play the new song.

Following the performance, singer Amy Heidemann and fiancĂ©/bandmate Nick Koonan spoke about their YouTube reputation, with Heidemann saying she was shocked her covers of rap songs like Chris Brown‘s ‘Look At Me Now became popular.

“I used to rap in the shower just for fun, cause it sounded good, but I never thought the rest of the world would appreciate it,” she said.
