Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas announce The Future Now tour

Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas have announced dates for The Future Now tour, which will see the pair perform across North America next summer.

The 44-date, 3-month trek opens in Sunrise, FL on June 24, with shows scheduled to wrap up in Los Angeles on September 17.

The Live Nation presale begins Friday, November 6 at 10 AM local, with the presale code TRACKS.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, November 7 at 10 am local.

The 2016 run marks Jonas and Lovato's sixth tour together and first since the pair formed a new record label called Safehouse earlier this year.

Lovato’s newly-released fifth album, “Confident”, has just debuted at No. 2 on the US charts.

Billboard reports the singer’s latest project enters the Billboard 200 in second spot with opening week sales of 98,000 copies.

“Confident” delivers Lovato her fifth straight top five-charting album following “Demi” (No. 3 in 2013), “Unbroken” (No. 4, 2011), “Here We Go Again” (No. 1, 2009) and her debut, “Don’t Forget” (No. 2, 2008).

Lovato previewed her new album with the lead single, “Cool For The Summer”, which peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100; it was followed by the album’s title track, which has just reentered the Hot 100 at No. 58.
