VIDEO: Madonna opens MDNA tour in Tel Aviv

Madonna kicked off her MDNA World Tour Thursday night in Tel Aviv.

YNetNews reports Madonna performed to a crowd of 33,000 at the Ramat Gan stadium.

Madonna, a devotee of a form of Jewish mysticism known as Kabbalah, danced, bumped, grinded and vogued in flashy costumes to a raucous crowd at the stadium near Tel Aviv.

Madonna emerged on stage in a confessional, breaking through its glass window using a rifle, which she then aimed at the audience. She wore a skin-tight black outfit to sing her first song, "Girl Gone Wild," accompanied by dancers dressed as monks.

She went on to sing "Give Me All Your Luvin'" and a mash-up of the classic "Express Yourself" with Lady Gaga's "Born This Way," dressed as a marching band conductor.

At one point during the show, Madonna addressed the audience and said she had decided to launch her tour in Israel for one specific reason and that being the Middle East conflict, which she said must stop

She noted that symbols on the stage represented both Israel and Palestine and sent a message of universal harmony. "We all bleed the same color, we all want to love and be loved."

While some artists have opted to boycott Israel because of its policies toward Palestinians, the 53-year-old Madonna's ties to the Jewish state have only strengthened in the last few years.

VIDEO: Florence And The Machine - Spectrum

Florence And The Machine have released the video for “Spectrum,” the latest single issued from their current album, “Ceremonials.”

The clip was directed by David LaChappelle and John Byrne.

LaChappelle’s last music video was for Amy Winehouse's “Tears Dry On Their Own,” back in 2007.

"It was a complete dream to work with David La Chapelle,” said Florence. “I collected his books as a teenager, and I fantasized that he would direct the video for 'Spectrum' from the moment the song was written. I still can't believe it actually happened, and I'm completely overjoyed that he felt such a connection with the song."

The group has also offered up a behind the scenes look at the making of the video.

AUDIO: Justin Bieber – Die In Your Arms

Justin Bieber has released a new track from his forthcoming album, “Believe.”

“Die In Your Arms” is the eighth track on the record, which is due June 19.

Billboard reports Scooter Braun, Bieber's manager, described the song on Twitter as carrying an "Old School Jackson 5 vibe," and compared to "Believe's" lead single, the rhythmic "Boyfriend," "Die In Your Arms" is a more classically arranged pop offering.

According to the track list released last week, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Big Sean and Ludacris are all featured on the new album.

Bieber will be taking "Die In Your Arms" and his other hits on the road this fall when his 46-date North American tour kicks off on September 29 in Glendale, AZ.

Lady Gaga cancels Indonesia concert over threats

Lady Gaga has canceled her concert in Indonesia due to threats by religious extremists.

Billboard reports Islamist hard-liners threatened violence, claiming Gaga’s sexy clothes and provocative dance moves would corrupt the youth.

Fans were devastated, despite the promoter's offer of full refunds. Some accused police - who refused to issue a permit over concerns about security - of buckling to the will of a small group of thugs.

The planned "Born This Way Ball" concert has been on-again-off-again from the start. But on Sunday, it was final, said Minola Sebayang, a lawyer for Big Daddy, the promoter of the June 3 show.

"It's unfortunate," he said. "But with threats if the concert goes ahead, Lady Gaga's side is calling it off. This is not only about Lady Gaga's security, but extends to those who will be watching her."

Police responded by denying the necessary permits. Then, after public outcry, they said they'd reconsider - but only if Gaga agreed to tone down her act. Instead, she pulled the plug on what was supposed to be the biggest stop on her Asian tour.
